Every five minutes, a bus passes by and stops if someone is at the stop. That there is a bus stop is otherwise nowhere to be seen. No sign, no bus shelter. But everyone knows there is a stop there. And everyone knows which bus to take. They can tell by the colour , usually not by the sign with the destination because there is often none. The buses themselves are a mixture of old and older. Probably bought second hand and since then they have been driving lots of miles at the fastest possible pace for a very long time. The windows open. But it is still the form of transport for many Indians. Cheap, so affordable. This one rides in south-west India along the west coast in Goa.
