This boat was moored along the towpath on a day when heavy fog was present. The towpath draws the viewer along the boat into the fog.
The photo was taken with the Nikon D7500 with focal length 55 and ISO 250 with aperture 5.6.
The conversion to black and white works better here than in colour. Combined with the fog, this creates a serene atmosphere in the image. Personally, I prefer to see images like this in black and white anyway as there is more atmosphere in the photo's.
I took this photo during a walk along the towpath. To capture the surroundings with the mist. Also to show that you don't always have to go far from home to take photos, but also that fog can change the atmosphere of familiar environments.
Some more space was left at the top so that the trees along the towpath were fully in the picture.
The centre viewing line runs neatly at 1/3 of the photo width.
