The photo shows part of the technique used in archery. Black and white was chosen to make the background disappear better than would have been possible in colour. The white vignette ensures that the technical part attracts full attention in the image.
The photo was taken with a Nikon D7500 at focal length 55 with ISO 800 and aperture 5.6.
The higher iso was necessary because this photo was taken indoors.
I took this photo during an archery competition in Ypres.
I wanted to capture the technique used by the archers to get their arrows into the bullse at a distance of 35m.
I took this photo because I am a fan of technical stuff and this was my first time photographing archery.
