Horses also sometimes graze on the salt marshes of the Netherlands. Of course, as an owner, you have to keep an eye on the weather and water. People can also be easily surprised if they don't know the signs of nature well enough. These horses quickly became confused when high water veiled the path back to dry land. Only after they were shown the way did they walk back to higher ground. Ditches and gullies are still recognised at low tide but at high tide you can't see where. I could only take a panorama of these beautiful animals. My wading trousers often help brave water because I know the way. Fortunately, it all ended well and the lesson was learned. Still, nice to see that the Netherlands has dynamism too because there is not much to do against water and wind. It forces us to respect tidal working.
I really love the Wadden Sea and this nature.
