About the artwork

Cork oaks are great to see. Those long arms and beautiful cork bark are works of art on seats. The fairy tale becomes complete when you see a whole forest of them. Especially the old ones are a joy to look at. I lined up a few with the camera. You can hear the Golden Oriole, Hoopoe, Chaffinch and so on. The hollows provide a home for many wild animals. I could spend days looking at them and waiting to see what happens. Once every six to seven years, the man with a special axe comes and cuts off the bark. That cork is often ground up and made into useful things. The ices from those trees are on say again useful for animals that make their living from them. Here are a few in a row. I call this the cork oak grove. If you order a nice large photo of it on canvas or have your wallpaper made from it, you'll be living in Extremadura in no time.

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
