Small stream in the Corbières mountains in the south of France. Taken in the heart of autumn, once again thanks to the "hasselblad" medium format photographic system, whose well-deserved reputation for faithfulness to natural colours comes into its own here.
Autumn being my favourite season, capturing all the nuances of colour is a real challenge that is difficult to achieve without the help of appropriate equipment. I don't usually like to talk about photographic equipment, as this fruitless and sterile debate is a pointless and stupid divisive issue. But when it comes to colours, if you absolutely want to reproduce natural colours, which is the case here, you have to recognise the decisive role played by the equipment used. That said, we mustn't forget that photography is first and foremost the photographer's eye and his or her decisive role in framing and measuring the light that leads to the final result.
