About ‘Wreckage at the sea channel between Ameland and Terschelling’ by Jan Huneman
This photo was taken from the Boschplaat European Nature Reserve during low tide.
There is a piece of wreckage on the sandbar from a wooden shipwreck off the coast of Terschelling.
On the horizon is Ameland with the strait with dangerous currents and sandbanks in between.

Since 1990 I have been working as a Wadden photographer in the World Heritage Site "The Wadden Sea" with its beautiful islands and bright lights between the tidal movements of ebb and flow.
Since 2004 I also work as a bird-watcher in the European natural monument "De Boschplaat" on Terschelling. For my photography a source of Inspiration.
