This photo was taken on the beach at pile 4 on the Noordsvaarder in Terschelling.
It is windless so the colours of this sunset reflect beautifully in the North Sea. At the place where the sun sets, the goldship the Lutine perished in 1799.
Since 1990 I have been working as a Wadden photographer in the World Heritage Site "The Wadden Sea" with its beautiful islands and bright lights between the tidal movements of ebb and flow.
