About the artwork

A high-energy moment on Singapore's iconic waterfront.

I took this photo during a warm afternoon walk near Marina Bay. The sun had just set, and the soft evening light gave the city a golden glow. On the path overlooking the water, I encountered a group of athletes, joggers and cyclists, forming silhouettes against the imposing skyline.

What makes this image so special is the combination of movement and stillness. The athletes race by in a blur of energy, while in the background, the famous Marina Bay Sands rises like an anchor point from the city. The contrast between man and metropolis, between dynamism and architecture, makes for a powerful composition.

I deliberately chose a slower shutter speed to capture the pace of the runners, while keeping the horizon and buildings in sharp focus. The result is a photo full of rhythm and depth - as if you were standing in the middle of the scene yourself, at the start of an evening run through one of the world's most modern cities.

At home, I subtly enhanced the colors and contrasts to convey the mood of that moment as faithfully as possible. This shot captures the energy of Singapore, and is perfect for lovers of urban photography, architecture or just an active life.

A cityscape that is literally in motion - while exuding calm and strength.

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
