About ‘Winter Wonderland in Eibsee’ by Tales of Justin

A magical location, unknown to many and so close to home. The Eibsee is a beautiful lake located in southern Germany. An iconic location for me as I return here every year.

During a beautiful sunrise, the sky coloured pink. The soft light on the freshly snow-covered stones in the foreground create a pleasant texture that you can almost touch. The iconic island contrasts beautifully with the snow and snow-covered mountain peaks.

This is a photo where all the right conditions came together, a rare moment for which I am still very grateful.
