After fresh snowfall, I photographed these trees in Syote National Park, Finnish Lapland. Due to the weight of the snow, these trees start to bend. Great for framing subjects like other trees with this. This photo specifically really captures Finnish Lapland for me. The snowy crooked tree framing two smaller trees, and also a setting sun colouring the sky pink.
The result is a picture composed of pastel colours with a soft gradient from blue to pink. A true fine-art plate to hang in your home. Due to the open sky and smooth texture of the snow in the foreground, this work also has a peaceful look, with the subject clearly framed in the centre.
