About the artwork

The white rhino (Ceratotherium simum), also known as the broad-lipped rhino, is the largest species of the five living rhino species and, apart from the elephants, the largest land animal of today. The white rhinoceros is a large and above all very solidly built animal with a thick, pale grey skin and a short tail with stiff hairs at the end. He's no lighter in color than the black rhino. The white rhino owes its name to a wrong translation by the English of the African wyd, which means "wide, wide" and not "white". In Afrikaans, the wrong translation has also been copied: the rhino is called renoster and the white rhino is called witrenoster. The lips of the white rhino are indeed wide, while the lips of the black rhino are more pointed. These lips use the white rhino to graze, while the pointed lip of the black rhino allows it to pick leaves and twigs more easily.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
