About "Weave of light - gold structure on transparency"

About the artwork

This work shows an abstract close-up of a delicate, translucent fabric, overlaid with a fine golden mesh. The soft folds of the fabric and the filigree structure of the mesh create an exciting interplay of light, shadow and texture. The inspiration for this picture was the interplay of organic movement and geometric order - a moment in which textile materials become graphic compositions.

The photograph dispenses with representational motifs and utilises the means of abstract photography: structure, lighting and material contrast take centre stage. The golden mesh structure forms a visual counterweight to the soft, translucent fabric surface and lends the image a subtle depth. The atmosphere is calm, but not static - it thrives on the interplay between openness and limitation.

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
