About "Lotus pond at the end of the flowering season"

About the artwork

Vietnam, Con Dao - The picture shows an extensive lotus pond in a late vegetation phase. Numerous dried stems rise up between the round, plate-like floating leaves - silent witnesses to the past flowering period. Some leaves are still lush green, others have already turned brown, curled up or decayed, revealing the natural cycle of growth and decay. Isolated buds and a few last blossoms indicate that the season is not yet completely over, but the autumn character is already clearly dominant. The motif does not show the lotus in its familiar, immaculate symbolic form, but as a living ecosystem in which beauty and decay coexist. The scene appears calm, almost meditative, and invites close observation of the details: shimmering water, reflections, structures, colours, rhythm. The photo is ideally suited to themes such as natural cycles, mindfulness, botanical documentation, seasonal photography or aesthetic transience in nature. The image can also be used in a variety of ways in the context of Asian culture, water landscapes or environmental education.

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
