From this small white flower I made a special work of art.
In my garden grows the herbaceous plant called Sandwort (Arenaria montana). Naturally, this plant grows in mountainous regions in southwestern Europe, from the Pyrenees to Portugal.
If you look at the flowers up close, they are true works of art of nature! So it is nice to make a macro photo of them. But not just an ordinary photo. I like to give my photos a creative twist.
With multiple exposure I mix two or three photos together. Often I mix a subject (in this case the flower) with a picture of a certain structure. Such a structure could be the bark of a tree or the pattern of a leaf, for example. For this photo, I chose a rough stone lying in the garden with various algae growing on it.
The little flower of the Sandwort is now interwoven with the structure of the stone. In this way, a beautiful artistic work of art was created.
By adjusting the colors, I created a vintage look. The whole is rural, quiet and romantic. Beautiful for your wall!

I see making art as a creative process.
The starting point of this process for me is always a photo or a painting of my own. Every work of art on this site is therefore based on a self-made photo or painting.
I find my sources of inspiration in everything around me...
