I took this picture in the nature reserve 't Sol near Garderen on the Veluwe. I stood on the Goudsberg where you have a view of the village of Garderen with the mill De Hoop, the mill De Hoop is a windmill and was used to grind grain. 't Sol where I stood used to be an estate, hence the view and the rhododendrons. You can also see a narrow path that goes from the parking lot to this viewpoint. For this photo I took 3 photos with different exposures, so it became an HDR photo. I also used a polarizing filter for this HDR to show the structures in the sky even better. The bushes on the left and right of the photo are in shadow while the windmill in the distance is in the light. The advantage is also that the cloudy sky is clearly visible in this HDR photo. When I took the photos for this HDR it was summer with accompanying Dutch weather.
