I took this photo along the coastline of Harderwijk. The water you see is the Wolderwijd, a peripheral lake created after the reclamation of Flevoland. When I took this picture I was standing on one of the beaches along the Zeepad. The Wolderwijd used to be part of the Zuiderzee on which Harderwijk was located. I took this picture because of the sky you see, as the sunlight fell beautifully against the veil clouds. On the Wolderwijd there were two boats on the water at the time this picture was taken. The birds in the picture are mainly gulls and a duck. Along the water's edge is reed with a beach here and there. I used a 55-300mm lens on my camera for this photo. Because of the short shutter speed and image stabilization on the lens, I took this photo out of hand. I chose to render this photo in 16:9 so you get sort of a panorama.
