I took this photo in the Leuvenum forest between Harderwijk and Nunspeet on the Veluwe. You can see the underside of a couple of mushrooms against a tree trunk, these mushrooms are porcelain mushrooms that are starting to dry. You can still see the lamellae even though they are tortuous. I liked the texture of the underside of these mushrooms for the photo. Next to the mushrooms, you can still see a piece of the trunk these mushrooms were attached to. These mushrooms were also sitting fairly high so I could photograph upwards fairly easily. To take this photo, I had put my 85mm macro lens on my camera and also placed my camera on my tripod. In photoshop, I removed a few distracting elements so this photo is perfect to hang on the wall.
