About "Two kinds of dragon fruit (pitaya) in the sunlight"

About the artwork

This picture shows two halves of a dragon fruit (pitaya) in an unusual juxtaposition: on the left the classic variety with white flesh, on the right the less common one with a red interior. Both halves have been freshly cut open and reveal their characteristic black seeds, which stand out in stark contrast to the flesh. The background - a soft, blurred sky with light reflections - enhances the luminosity of the colours and directs the focus entirely to the texture and variety of colours of the fruit.

The dragon fruit originally comes from Central America, but is now mainly cultivated in South-East Asia. It is not only regarded as an exotic superfood, but also as a symbol of tropical freshness and modern nutritional culture. The idea for this picture arose from the desire to show the aesthetics of natural food in its purest form - without staging, but with a clear eye for form, colour and structure.

The atmosphere is calm, almost meditative. The light emphasises the transparency of the pulp and invites us to pause and rediscover the beauty of everyday things. This work is particularly suitable for modern kitchens, dining areas or cafés - anywhere where naturalness, freshness and a touch of the exotic are welcome.

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
