About "Tulips in Blues & Greens"

by Christine de Vogel

About the artwork

A unique combination of beautiful tulip leaves in shades of blue and green with a hint of purple. This square-shaped artwork shows the beautiful details present in tulip leaves. The enlargement makes it easy to see the lines that you would not normally see.

If you like both abstract and figurative art, this is a nice combination, as the petals create an almost abstract interplay of lines yet evoke an association with flowers/nature. The colours and image exude tranquillity, and are a nice addition to your interior.

This work for on the wall fits well in both neutral and colourful interiors and is also very nice if the colour on the wall is combined with a colour from the photo, such as green, blue or a contrasting colour, making the art print stand out even more!

This art photo is part of the series 'The fingerprint of Leaves' in which I capture the unique line pattern of flower leaves, and in this case tulip leaves.
This is how I try to portray my fascination for all the beauty that can be seen in nature if you really look closely.
