These trees on the west side of the Maalwater in Heiloo are in a marshy area that developed a layer of ice after a few nights of frost.
The sky is golden with the rising sun and the arriving planes that take the last turn to Schiphol over this part of the Egmond, Castricum and Heiloo triangle leave their mark in the blue sky.
