During my tour of Kyrgyzstan, I stayed a night at the Toktogul reservoir during one of the last days.
It is the largest water reservoir in Kyrgyzstan and Central Asia.
With an area of 284 square kilometres and an average depth of 215 metres, the lake is the largest in Central Asia, making it an impressive and important natural area.
I took this photo there during sunset, after we first had a lovely swim in it.
