Gustav Klimt loved women , including naked women. He loved the colour gold but also colour.
Klimt was a painter who brought innovation, it was the time of Art Nouveau,Art Deco and Jugendstil.

Ineke de Rijk's inspiring travels
From the Algarve to The GambiaI have time to draw and paint more after years of volunteer work for the St. Care Foundation The Gambia. Inspiration I got in the Gambia where I also lived. The colors, the population and life is a great source of inspiration. But also the quieter life now is inspiring to use softer colours and to work more with pastel chalk. But still it's nice to work in all kinds of colours and to try out new techniques and new materials.
