A ruin, that is all that remains of this once mighty prison in Australia. These walls are the only thing left standing after a fierce fire in the last century. It was still open so recently that ex-prisoners give tours there. And that is unusual, considering Australians were initially ashamed of their history as a dumping ground for criminals from England. Now they are proud of their dark past, once more for all they have managed to do since then.
