In a room bathed in melancholy moss green, a woman sits with a sad expression in front of a tower of old books overgrown by time. Her fingers rest gently on a crystalline sphere that glows mysteriously from within - as if it harbours the refracted light of past memories.
Her dress of deep green velvet looks as if it has come from another era, the collar is made of withered leaves - traces of decay, but also of the dignity of ageing. Small coils are wrapped in her hair, like relics of forgotten machines or thoughts that spin endlessly.
Delicate butterflies float around her, some drawn, some as if alive. They look like animated scraps of thought, like wandering memories that are neither quite here nor there.
