An evening walk in early spring, on the Kalmthoutse Heide. The sun was sinking towards the horizon,
but there seemed nothing asking to be photographed.
Until the verge full of catkins was there, beautifully shone on by the last light of day. Not an impressive view, not a great moment. But the light lingered, as it were, soft, warm and unexpected.
Sometimes an image just lies waiting for whoever pauses for a moment.
