About ‘The end’ by Simon Abbes

This is a monument just outside the fortified town of Bourtange(Groningen, Netherlands). I have taken more photos here, so please take a look at my other photos in my shop. In the background you can see the Natte Horizon. Here you see a gallows with a beautiful sunset behind it. There is also a crow on top of the gallows.

I was cycling when I suddenly saw this, and I I I was cycling when I suddenly saw this. it was so beautiful that I had to take a picture of it.

This image gives a warm feeling and peace. the feeling you feel is hard to explain, but it is something soothing/hopeful. Fortunately, I managed to capture the feeling I felt at the moment I took the picture.
