The beach between Westenschouwen and Nieuw-Haamstede is my favorite beach location in the Netherlands. The rows of poles that lead you to the sunset are always photogenic. Whatever day you get there, whatever the weather. But with a sky like this, you see them very rarely.
I was lucky enough to be at the beach this evening and also to be there in time to find this composition. Nothing difficult, just a straight line with poles leading you to the water. But it is balanced and made interesting by the beautiful colors in the sky.
