This picture was taken in Leiden.
The castle of Leiden is one of the oldest surviving examples of a castle in the Netherlands.
The building is located in the center of Leiden, on the spot where the two arms of the Rhine flow together.
The round structure is located on a moth, an artificial hill, and can be accessed through a sandstone gate.
Through the opening of the gate you see the Hooglandse Kerk, which is a Gothic church building in Leiden.
