About the artwork

Magdeburg, the capital of Saxony-Anhalt, is a central German city on the Elbe River. Magdeburg's Gothic cathedral is located in the center and is the burial church of Otto the Great, the first emperor of the Holy Roman Empire. The Museum of Cultural History traces the city's importance in the Middle Ages with exhibits on archaeology and local history. The Romanesque-style Monastery of Our Lady houses a contemporary art gallery and a sculpture park.

Once the heart of Magdeburg's heavy industry, Buckau was long one of the city's problem children. But since the turn of the millennium, the neighborhood has undergone an impressive development. Today, you'll find an exciting mix of new housing developments on the banks of the Elbe, lavishly restored old buildings, and creatively repurposed industrial structures in a district with many young and committed residents and a rich cultural life.

The Buckau bottleneck is an offshoot of Schönebecker Strasse. Characteristic of the bottleneck are the St. Gertrauden Church and row houses of the former industrial age.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
