At the northern entrance to Yellowstone National Park, you will find a whole herd of bison. These bison are also not afraid to enter the road and if you come at the right time, they will run with the group towards the waterhole. The running of these large animals is a massive sight.
I took this photo from the opening of the rental car we were allowed to use. This was the ideal way to take some photos while driving. While photographing, these three sturdy bison came into my sight. The photo represents my connection with nature and at the same time it exudes a raw reality of the beautiful nature still standing and what we live in. That we get to share this area at this time with these beautiful bison and enjoy all its splendour is super special.
