The Koppelpoort in a threatening sky. This photogenic double city gate in Amersfoort is a combination of a land and water gate. The gate was built between 1380 and 1425 as part of the second city wall. With the long shutter speed I used here, you can see the water dancing through the landscape like a smooth stream in dramatic lines.
