This photo is made in The Hague,
The Japanese Garden is the showpiece of the Clingendael estate. Here you can see beautiful and rare trees and plants. The garden is very vulnerable.
The Japanese Garden was laid out in the beginning of the 20th century by the then owner of the estate Clingendael, Marguerite M. Baroness van Brienen (1871-1939), also called lady Daisy. She has made one or more trips to Japan by ship.
