About "The Inspiring Silence of the Nærøyfjord II"

About the artwork

In the depths of autumn, the Nærøyfjord shows its most mystical face. The surface of the water is a perfect mirror, so still that it reflects the steep mountains as if they exist in a parallel world. The colours of autumn-warm tones of gold, copper and deep green-reinforce the contrast with the pale clouds that hang like veils between the mountain peaks.

The fjord, named after "Nærøy" Njord, the Norwegian god of sea and wind, seems an ode to the wild power of nature. Although silence reigns, you can feel the raw character of the environment: the imposing cliffs rising up to 1,800 metres high, the waterfalls that seem to flow from the clouds, and the deep shadow of the fjord walls where hardly any light penetrates.

At this season, the Nærøyfjord seems at rest. No summer crowds, no rush. Just nature, intense and pristine. Clouds dance between the mountains, enveloping the landscape with a mysterious aura. It feels like Njord itself watches over this piece of its realm, where time has no hold and the soul comes into harmony with the elements.

An autumnal reflection of a wild, animated landscape-the Nærøyfjord inspires like no other.

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
