Tips for use

Point your camera at the floor or a piece of furniture first, then move it slowly up towards the wall. A bare white wall is hard for your phone to recognise.
Move your phone gently from side to side. Holding it still or waving it around quickly does not help.
Make sure there is enough light. In a dark room your phone has nothing to lock onto.
The artwork appears at its true size, so you cannot scale it in AR. Want a different size? Close AR and pick the size on the product page.
Still nothing? Open this page in Chrome or Safari. AR does not work in the browser of apps such as Instagram or Facebook.

About ‘The Guardians of the Fjord’ by Jacco van Son

In the immense expanse of Scoresby Sound in Greenland, time seems to take on a different rhythm. During a sailing expedition through this Arctic wilderness, you are surrounded by monumental structures of stone and ice. This work captures the serene drama of the far north, where the boundary between water, ice and sky blurs into a veil of low-hanging cloud.
In the foreground, two distinctive icebergs float robustly in the dark water. One is jagged and layered, the other sleek and massive, like a floating fortress. Their brilliant white and deep blue polar hues form a striking contrast with the gigantic, dark mountain faces that rise vertically from the sea. The thick mist drifting through the mountain folds enhances the mystical, bleak and desolate character of this untamed landscape.
This image conveys an atmosphere of deep tranquillity, isolation and the overwhelming grandeur of nature. It evokes the silence and raw power that can only be experienced at the edges of the earth.
Stunning in any interior:
This artwork is a stylish and soothing addition to any wall. Thanks to its understated colour palette of natural greys, earthy browns and cool icy tones, it fits perfectly into a modern, minimalist or Scandinavian interior. It brings depth and a sense of expansiveness to a room, making it ideal for a living room, bedroom or office where a serene and inspiring focal point is desired. A wonderful piece for lovers of adventurous travel and unspoilt landscapes.
