About "The Dragontree At Night (Socotra)"

About the artwork

The Dragon Tree is an endemic tree in Socotra. This means you cannot find this tree anywhere else in the world, only on a small island just off the coast of Africa.

Besides all the endemic flora and fauna, Socotra is also known for its clear nights with little light pollution. This means this is one of the best countries in the world to admire the night sky.

This work consists of more than 10 individual photos's. By taking several photos's, digital noise can be reduced. But as a result, you also have a foreground that is completely in focus, while you can see the night sky in the reflection.

The Milky Way is incredibly colourful and detailed like you will not see very often. In addition, the natural phenomenon of airglow is visible on the horizon.

In short, a work where many special aspects come together, and therefore definitely a conversation starter!

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
