About "The Crazy Sage"

About the artwork

"The Crazy Sage" is my interpretation of Rafiki, the iconic character from The Lion King. I wanted to capture Rafiki's crazy, unpredictable energy, but also his deeper wisdom. The title actually says it all: a "crazy wise one". Rafiki is both funny and wise, and that is exactly what I wanted to express in this painting.
With bright colours and wild lines, I tried to capture the chaos and energy of the character, but there is also a layer of meaning in the way everything comes together.
It's as if the craziness of life can sometimes lead to the greatest insights. I wanted this work to reflect both the playfulness and the deeper layers of Rafiki's character. This painting revolves around the idea that wisdom and chaos can go hand in hand.

What are the delivery times?

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
