About "The Cool Cave"

About the artwork

One of the hidden gems of Kodachrome Basin State Park, Cool Cave is located along the extensive Panorama Trail. It is the largest cave in the park and a special point for hikers looking for a unique experience. As its name suggests, Cool Cave offers a refreshing refuge from the desert heat, thanks to the shade and lower temperatures inside.

The cave was formed by natural erosion processes, with wind and water eroding the soft sandstone over millions of years. The opening of the cave reveals an inviting space where visitors can pause, enjoy the tranquillity and take in the impressive textures of the rock formations. It is a place of both geological interest and practicality for hikers, especially during hot summer days.

Although Cool Cave is less well known than other highlights in Kodachrome Basin, it is often called one of the most memorable stops by those who make the effort to explore the full Panorama Trail. However, visitors are urged to be respectful of this natural hideout and leave no trace, so that the cave retains its pristine charm.

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
