About ‘Taste the sea!’ by Sander Poppe

During a windy and stormy day on the Dutch coast, I stood on the dike between Domburg and Westkapelle, an iconic part of the Zeeland coast. The sound of the wind and the churning waters of the North Sea made for an impressive spectacle. The breakwaters were defied without mercy by powerful waves, splashing metres high on the beach. The foam and splashing water gave the landscape a rough and pristine character, typical of this region of Zeeland.

The natural beauty of the area came into its own during this stormy day. The sky turned orange and purple due to the play of light and clouds, which made for beautiful photographic moments. The contrast between the sturdy dike, the pile heads in the sea and the dynamic waves showed the power of nature to the full.

For lovers of nature and photography, a stormy day on the coast near Domburg and Westkapelle is a unique experience. The ruggedness, natural spectacle and stunning views make the Zeeland coast an indispensable destination for anyone who loves pure nature experiences on the Dutch coast.

What are the delivery times?

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

Is your order a gift for someone? We can create you a gift voucher that displays the artwork(s) you ordered, so you have something to give while the artwork is being printed. Just send us an e-mail and we’ll take care of it.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
