The sunsets in the Philippines are sometimes spectacular. This one at Paliton Beach on the island of Siquijor was no exception. The sky exploded with all red and purple colours. I was actually having dinner with my family on the beach, but left them alone for a while to take a few photos.
The outrigger boat at anchor and the man wading slowly to the boat provide just enough focus points that the photo is something more than a standard sunset over the sea. Without these focus points, the colours are still great but the scene is a bit dull.
After 10 minutes it was too dark and I could go back to the table
