In Oslob in the south of the island of Cebu in the Philippines are the Tumalog falls. From the road, it is a steep descent (and also climb again) to get to the falls, but the falls and the cool lake below always attract locals and tourists. Along the river there are now also a few bamboo huts that you can rent for lunch in nature.
It had been a long time since I had been there and I was pleasantly surprised with the abundance of water coming down and continuing to feed the smaller waterfalls as well
