About the artwork

On my way to the harbor I came across this piece of nature, which looked even more beautiful because of the setting sun than in "ordinary" daylight.
Sunsets give beautiful warm and soft light. A favorite time of day for photographers to take pictures.

Compared to other photos of sunsets, there is more to this photo than just a beautiful red sky and setting sun. The observant viewer can also see the water birds, swimming from right to left. Also, just off the shore there is a rope with spheres in the water, which looks with like a beaded necklace.
It was just barely windless, so you can see a very subtle sparkle in the water.

Stellendam is a fishing village on Goeree-Overflakkee, a South Holland island (and not Zeeland, as many people think). Stellendam is known for shrimp fishing at sea and has two harbors: the inner harbor and the outer harbor. But Stelledam also has beautiful nature and a beach.

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
