Do the tulip fields make you so happy with all those beautiful colours in the landscape? The nice thing about this field is that the tulips are red with a yellow edge, but if you look across the field, the field looks cheerfully orange. The day I took this picture, the sky was getting darker and darker. But when I got home, the contrast between the threatening sky and the cheerful tulips made me really happy!
The lines also provide a kind of contrast: the long lines of the furrows/paths between the flower beds lead the eye into the distance, while the edge of the flower bed in front looks a bit pointed.
