This photo shows how clear ice, carved out by time and the sea, sparkles like precious gems on the jet-black sand. As the sun rises, the ice floes catch the first light, creating a surreal spectacle of colour and reflection. The moment I took this shot, everything felt magically still for a moment: the sea slowly retreated, leaving behind patterns you only see like this once in a lifetime.
The inspiration for this photo comes from my fascination with the contrast between cold ice and warm light, between stillness and movement. This work brings a unique blend of calm and energy to any interior. It is perfect for anyone who loves adventure, natural beauty and surprising contrasts. With this picture, you bring a piece of Icelandic magic into your home that continues to surprise every day.
