About ‘Sunrise Heath Bakkeveen’ by Scandinavian Photography

A very quiet morning on the heathland near Bakkeveen, better known as It Mandefjild.

Together with a fellow photographer, I was up early and ready to watch the sun rise. It was cold and dressed in a winter coat and ski trousers we took up the challenge. Equipped with a thermos of coffee, we would keep ourselves warm.

After walking through the nature reserve, we ended up at a little pond with a lone tree. A nice place to take photos's.

Occasionally some birds came flying over, more life we did not see that morning. So quiet and peaceful...

In the end, it turned out to be a bit foggy and a cloud came up. This created a very nice atmosphere, giving the photo a certain tranquillity. With my photos's I like to achieve that people feel the atmosphere as if they have been there themselves.

What are the delivery times?

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

Is your order a gift for someone? We can create you a gift voucher that displays the artwork(s) you ordered, so you have something to give while the artwork is being printed. Just send us an e-mail and we’ll take care of it.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
