Spanish Soul: Abstract Colour-Block Japansi Pet Art – Portrait of a Podenco by Angelique van den Berg

Tangerine Twist – Modern Minimalist Colour Block Podenco Portrait Bring the elegant, vibrant energy and proud demeanour of the Podenco into your home with this modern, minimalist work of art. Executed in the bold and trendy Tangerine Twist colour palette, this stylised portrait is a real eye-catcher for lovers of design and dogs with character. This unique digital artwork captures the iconic silhouettes of the Podenco in a high-fashion colour block design. Inspired by modern minimalism and figurative abstraction, the composition focuses entirely on the pure essence of the dog: The Podenco’s characteristic large, erect ears and alert, slender muzzle are masterfully stylised in bold blocks of warm terracotta, deep orange and soft apricot tones. The expressive, minimalistically rendered eyes radiate the intelligence and alertness that make this breed so unique. The Tangerine Twist Palette: The background breaks with tradition and opts for a dynamic geometric interplay of razor-sharp tangerine-orange, rich terracotta blocks and fresh citrus/cream stripes. This palette instantly brings warmth, sunlight and a subtle Mediterranean feel to the space.
By completely omitting details such as fur lines, a monumental sense of calm is created. The clean lines ensure that the work, despite the expressive use of colour, retains its high-end design aesthetic.

This piece is a perfect match for interiors that could do with a bit of boldness and character. It fits seamlessly with interior styles such as Contemporary Chic, Modern Boho, Retro-Modern, or serves as a warm, summery statement in a sleek, minimalist or industrial interior.

The ultimate eye-catcher above a neutral designer sofa, in a light-filled hallway, or as an inspiring burst of colour in a creative home office or modern workplace.
