Silence underwater

by Angelique van den Berg

Immerse yourself in a world of tranquillity and dreamlike serenity with this unique work of art. The piece captures a moment of complete stillness underwater, where the warm glow of red hair contrasts beautifully with the cool, deep shades of blue and the shimmering reflections on the water’s surface. The visible, impasto brushstrokes lend the whole piece a rich and tactile texture, as if it were a genuine hand-painted acrylic painting.

Expressionist Portrait: Thanks to the intense colours (the bright orange/red of the hair against the deep blue/green of the water) and the dynamic brushwork, the piece carries a strong emotional and expressive charge.

What makes this piece particularly special is the creative process: it originated from a photograph I took myself, which was then transformed into this painterly masterpiece using advanced AI techniques. A stunning, eye-catching piece full of depth and emotion that brings a sense of calm to any space—from the living room to a modern bedroom or office."
