About "Space Buddha - meditating Yoga astronaut in space"

About the artwork

A somewhat unusual image, this astronaut. Floating in immeasurable space, he adopts the Lotus posture of Buddha: legs crossed in cross-legged armchair and the typical 'reassuring' hand gesture called the Abhaya Mudra. The hand raised to the height of the chest with the palm facing outwards is the posture of reassurance or fearlessness.

He is completely Zen, floating motherly alone in infinite, icy space. He is -relatively speaking- not far from home, as the planet Earth reflects in his helmet. We cannot see his gaze behind his gold-coated helmet, but no doubt he is looking at Earth, at us.
The Earth is his prayer wheel, and it turns every day.

Behind him, we see stars and planets, and to be more precise, the Milky Way galaxy.

Over there on Earth, of course, things are not going well at all, but this astronaut seems confident that all will be well.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
