Cologne is a city district (kreisfreie Stadt) and metropolis in Germany, in the state of North Rhine-Westphalia, located on the Rhine River, north of Bonn and south of Neuss and Düsseldorf. Cologne, with 1,083,498 inhabitants (December 31, 2020),[1] is the fourth largest city in Germany and the largest in North Rhine-Westphalia. About 2,500,000 people live in the metropolitan area. Cologne is the capital of the Regierungsbezirk Cologne and the unofficial capital of the Rhineland. The kreisfreie Stadt has an area of 405.01 km².

The history of the city goes back more than 2,000 years. Cologne played an important role in church and politics from the Middle Ages onward. It used to be part of the Electorate of Keur-Keulen.

The city is famous for its rich history, cultural and architectural heritage and a number of large and international events, such as the carnival and trade fairs. Cologne also has a university, one of the oldest in Europe, and an airport, which it shares with Bonn.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
