About ‘Skyline of Cologne’ by Gerard de Zwaan

This picture is from the skyline of Cologne in Germany. In the foreground you can see the river Rhine flowing through Cologne. I took the picture over the Rhine. Just after I took the picture it started to rain, this rain can already be seen on the picture. The church in the picture I think is st. Martin.

Welcome to my shop. My name is Gerard de Zwaan and I was born in 1983 in the Veluwe town of Harderwijk where I grew up and still live. I started photography in 2013. My first camera was a Nikon D3200 which I still own and is now as a spare camera, currently I use a Nikon D7200. Every now and then I also use 1 or 2 Nikon SB700 reportage flash units to highlight a subject. From the start I mainly do Nature Photography, it is mainly landscapes what I photograph, the Veluwe…
